I wanted to post an update for future applicants looking at this post I was taken off the waitlist on 11/05 at 1pm! posted my stats in the beginning of this post.

for the fall application period they sent emails around 5pm hopefully they don't send them that late today ?

Hi guys I'm also applying for Spring I actually applied for fall and was waitlisted. GPA 3.61 Reading 82 and Math 97. Advisor did let me know fall is more competitive so hopefully I get accepted this time fingers crossed!

from what it says in the website 45 days after the application dead line.

Tomorrow I have an advising appointment with advisor/ recruiter of the nursing department to hopefully answer some of my concerns!

Hello everyone I am also applying to SHSU for their fall 2021 BSN program! I am still trying to figure out if I should re take my TEAS I got an 82 for an over all score but im not sure if its a competitive score since they only focus on the math and reading sections which are my strongest but IDK if I should try and get an even higher score in those sections. I did email the pre nursing department last week but they haven't reached out to me yet so might have to schedule an advising appt.
