Salinas, Ca/Salinas Valley Memorial...??'s

Hello fellow CA nurses! I am considering a package/re-location to Salinas . The hospital is Salinas Valley Memorial. Does anyone have any info on the area, or the hospital? I'm mainly concerned about crime/gangs/drugs.

Also would be nice to hear some feedback on the hospital.

My boyfriend lives in Salinas because of his job. There are definitely good parts and bad parts. He lives not far from SVMH in a new housing development, which seems to be very nice. I toured SVMH last time i was visiting and really liked it!
