I don't think Saint Francis usally hires CNAs - only techs, but they do offer their own training for techs. St John (where I am) now starts at 9.85 after the new year 4% annual increase.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me information on the nursing environment around Tulsa. Or if you know anything about Indian Health Service Hospitals in the Claremore or Tahlequah area's I would love to hear from you, I'm considering a relocation to this area and I have never been to that part of Oklahoma. Thanks for your help.

St. Francis pays 9.69 an hour starting out and there is a pay differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, I know first hand because I work them!!! Depending upon your floor its a great job that provides lots of experience if you are planning upon going into the nursing field which is what I'm doing.

They hire PA or PCA's (patient assit or pt care assistants).. I'm not sure what they pay but the phone number to the main hospital is 901-765-1000, just ask for nurse recruitment and see what you can find out. I'm trying to get a nurse intern position there and I did my clinical rotation there. They do have positions where those employees do the vital signs, etc.. for the floor. Good luck!
