I've been a new nurse in the OR for about a month, and everything is going great! However, there is one thing that's been driving me nuts: the flimsy, disposable eyewear they give us. Can anybody recommend a great pair of safety glasses that I could buy that won't fall down, fog up, or be in any other way annoying? Thanks so much!

I buy my glasses from here, there's a variety to choose from and they are cheap.

Go to Home Depot, Lowes etc. and look at their safety glasses. That is where I got a pair. If you do not mind spending a little bit look at ESS etc. at military balistic glasses. ESS is the type that I wear now, every comfortable. Fogging up will always be a issue as look as we wear mask, just try to get a tight fit on the nose with your mask or use a small piece of tape.

I love my venture II's from Pyramex. come in many colors/lense options. Dont' forget to get fog-resistant!

Ususally I recommend ording a couple diffferent styles and deciding what feels best. They are only a couple bucks each.

gargoyles are really nice-but expensive.

I went to the hunting section at Walmart and got a cute pair of pink "shooting" glasses. They were about $7 and work great!
