Anyone applying to Saddleback College for the Fall 2023 term? 

I was also accepted for Fall!

Hi everyone! I got accepted with 95 points. The points I had missing were from academic degrees.

I got a B in Anatomy at IVC and retook it at GWC for an A. At the time, they were offering classes online but I'm not sure if they're still doing that.

And saddleback takes the better grade? Some schools only recognize the first attempt.

I just heard back from my email. They said the cutt off for acceptance for Fall 2023 was 83 points. I calculated my point total multiple times and got counselor confirmation of which of my classes will count for the pre reqs. So I emailed back trying to figure out which of my pre reqs they didn't count to put me back at 83 instead of 85. Hopefully I can get this figured out and changed

Yes they accept the better grade! You just have to input that in your application and let them know which transcript to look at.

I got in with 87 points! The email said I have until march 8th to accept or my spot will be given up. I feel like that deadline is so soon considering I'm still waiting to hear back from other schools?

I got in with 85!  I'm also waiting to hear back from an ABSN program I applied to but won't find out for a month or two.  I'm just accepting this program and going with it until I find out from the other program.

Also heads up to everyone who sees this comment.  I applied with 85 points and was accepted as an alternate.  I emailed them asking for them to confirm how many points they had for me.  They said I had 82 (which is why I was initially an alternate) and I had to correct them and then they moved me up to 85 which put me as accepted.  

If you are an alternate or not accepted it sounds like it wouldn't hurt to email them just to confirm they have the right point total for you
