I had 98 points

I got in with 92 points. but hopefully I'll be giving up my spot to someone on the alternate list, if I get into a BSN program or even an ADN program that's a little closer to home for me! ?

I hope you get into a program that works best for you! congrats on getting in! definitely a relief to know you atleast have a spot! wishing you the best on the rest of your responses and your journey as a nurse!

I was passed up this time but I got a call from another program with an acceptance! Good luck everyone!

I didn't apply for the fall, but I might apply in July if I don't get in anywhere. Does anyone know if Saddleback takes repeat grades? I took two classes over to change my grades from B's to A's.

I applied for Fall 2023 with 85 points and got notified I was an alternate.  I emailed the program asking them to confirm that their calculation for my points was also 85 and to ask what the minimum cut off for acceptance was set at this round.  Not sure what my alternate # is but hoping I'll get moved up to accepted

Specializes in Nurse.

Congrats to all who get in. Can u share how many points u have if u don't mind please . TIA

Does anyone know where on the Saddleback website you can see what the minimum cut offs for acceptance were for the past admission cycles?

I just looked and I don't see it anywhere, but I thought I remembered seeing the cut off for Spring 2023 posted not too long ago. I think maybe they took all the info down for Spring, hopefully they'll update with the cut off for this semester sometime in the next few months.

looking back at the thread for Spring 2023, it seems like the cut off for initial acceptances might have been around 82 points. I know sometimes things are more competitive in the fall because there are a higher volume of applicants, but I'm still surprised you didn't get in with 85 points. hopefully you're really high on the alternates list!

Yeah I sent them an email asking for confirmation that they have me at 85 points and asking what the cutoff was so hopefully they are able to give me that information so I can try to gauge where I'm at and what my chances might be
