Hey everyone! I wanted to start the thread for the Spring 2024 applicants for Sacramento State's BSN program. It's pretty early but it might be helpful to be able to talk to each other during the application process.

Hi all,

Just got the news that I was admitted. 
Does anyone know how to interpret this information from the admission email? 
 

"Placement into the clinical course, NURS 112, will be conditional pending the allotted placements in the agencies for your clinical. Admission to other first semester courses, NURS 111 and NURS 113, are not conditional on agency placements.”

Does this mean that some students who were selected might ultimately end up being denied admission to the program if they do not find them a clinical placement? 
 

Any insights would be appreciated!

I think clinical placement is basically your seat being saved for clinical rotations. Since u just got offered, it is up to you if you're going to accept or not.

Hello everyone! I just got accepted from the waitlist, was 72 points! Can't wait to see all of you in the Spring! For those that are already in the program, is there anything I should buy before Black Friday ends? LOL ?

Congrats! I've heard people recommend iPads a lot! So that might be a good one if you don't have one

I am looking to apply to Fall 24 with a 68 ( 4.0 88TEAS). 

I wondering if it's even worth it to apply considering the most recent cutoffs, or If I should instead retake the TEAS and apply for Spring 25?

I ended up missing the deadline 😞. But I did apply SFSU, SJSU, and CSULB so 🤞.
