Sacramento State Spring 2024

Published

Hey everyone! I wanted to start the thread for the Spring 2024 applicants for Sacramento State's BSN program. It's pretty early but it might be helpful to be able to talk to each other during the application process.

Hi! Is anyone here finished the bilingual proficiency test? I have been contacting a professor to test my second language skills, but not receiving a response from her... Maybe I should have done this earlier since all professors are having Summer breaks ?

Good luck to everyone applying!

I am applying with 69 points. 4.0 GPA and 89.3% on TEAS.

Hello everyone! Goodluck on your application!

I am applying with a 72. How's everyone feeling? I'm getting really nervous

I'll also be applying with a 72... feeling anxious and hoping the point cut off won't rise any higher from the fall 2023 stats. Good luck to all of us!

Applying with 78 points; goodluck to everyone applying!

Just found this thread. I hope everyone was able to get their application submitted okay! I submitted my application with a score of 78, so I feel like that should get me in? Still anxiously waiting to hear back from them. I know it says we will hear back by the end of November at the latest but I wonder what is the soonest possible date applicants will get a response. After all the build up and studying for the TEAS, this wait is driving me crazy haha. I will definitely post when I've heard back. Hope everyone does the same. Good luck!

You're acceptance is pretty much guaranteed with a 78, the last two cycles the min was 70 and highest min ever was 73 I think, so you're far above that

@AnshThank you. Yeah looking at the applicant statistics that's how I feel as well. I'm still nervous because I am a transfer student with kind of a complex application so my worry is that there might be some disqualifying mistake that I missed. I check my app several times but it's just one of those things... You don't know until you know.

Oh yeah same, also worried about that as a transfer ?

Hi everyone,

I am currently a third semester nursing student who used this platform when applying to the program. The process can be stressful and confusing at times so let me know if you have any questions!

@tennis10 can you give some expectations or maybe some advice during your first sem like how the exams look like? clinicals? the HESI exam? I heard a lot of comments that the first and second sem are brutal. I am scared haha. I applied with 77pts by the way
