Hey everyone, has anyone applied to the Sacramento city RN program ? Does anyone know if the school truly is lottery?

The people who were offered a spot were told to respond my April 16th, today. If any of them do not respond, or respond that they are declining, people will be offered their spot, and alternates will also be notified. These notices will be going out between the 16th, and the 1st week in May.
OMG that gives me so much hope!! 😭

The email I received on April 17th said:
"You have been selected as an Alternate for the Sacramento City College RN Associate Degree Nursing Program Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 application year."
[Some info about a mandatory orientation.]
"Attending this meeting does not guarantee admittance into the Nursing program and is intended for informational purposes to assist you should you be called to fill an opening. Alternates will be called as positions become available prior to and up to the first day of the start of the fall and Spring semesters.
Please note we will not give out information regarding ranking order. If you are not called to fill a spot you may apply again during the next application period."
