Hello all. Okay so it's my third time applying for the Lvn program at Scc and I a, nervous. I really really want to get in this time. I am praying it will happen but we still have a couple of weeks to wait and hear back. Anyone else waiting to hear back also?
Wow I have yet to hear anything from Scc Lvn program.I do have imail as well. I am confused does that mean I did not get in and I do not even get an email?
Technically, according to the website they have up to eight weeks to notify you. This is going on week five so I would let eight weeks go by then call them. If you call before 8 weeks they will probably be upset since they are so specific about not contacting them with your status.
hi sucess2012, i recieved an email from them. i havn't checked my imail but my email is connected to the imail account. Email is the best way if you are waiting to be heard from the school because they don't update the status at your personal school login site. Mine still says applicaiton recieved for RN.
My guess is that you should be getting your acceptance or rejection letters from them very, very shortly. My experience is that they say they will take up to 8 weeks to notify you, but they almost invariably take about 5. Your rejection email should state very clearly if you're a qualified applicant or not, should you get that letter. If you have applied for multiple programs in the Los Rios system, expect that once those letters start going out from one program, they'll very shortly go out for all of them. That should give you plenty of time to decide what program you want to go to, should you be accepted into multiple programs.
Most of my classmates were accepted after 3-5 times applying. I was accepted after about 7/8 times. It gets frustrating at times, but stick with it, and keep reapplying if you were rejected from a program you really want to get into. -
Congrats Sarah! How many times had you applied?
I have applied to Sac City's LVN program the last 2 semesters...but I have applied to a million different RN programs. All the Los Rios ones 3 times, and Sierra's program, even looked at San Joaquin Delta in Stockton. I also applied for an RN program in the town I lived in before my husband and I moved to the Sacramento area. Up here there is one extra class required so I had to take that class and then start my applications, so I totally know that it's extremely frustrating waiting it out. I am sad that I didn't get into an RN program but hey at least now my career is headed in the right direction. Did you get in this semester??
