Hi Mark, I got accepted to SCC ADN for fall too. :)
Yay! So I imagine I will be meeting you at the orientation this Friday?
I will be there! I just accepted your request as well.
Interested in creating a Facebook group for our cohort? I think it would be cool if we had a place to discuss over the summer and throughout the program.
I sent you a PM

Unless they've changed their ways, they generally discourage the creation of a Facebook group. If you do have one, ensure that it's as closed as possible so that what is posted on those pages doesn't leak out beyond the participants. You're in for a very interesting time and your first semester will seem pretty basic. Expect to be doing lab on campus on Thursdays and Fridays for about the first 5 weeks or so. You have some incredibly good Professors and Clinical Instructors that are very knowledgeable in their fields. Try your best to really learn the stuff from this upcoming semester because you'll be using that stuff throughout the following Semesters. Also, make sure you really and truly learn Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Congratulations on being chosen for the Fall 2014 class! I was in your shoes just a few years ago...

Little late in replying but I'm starting in Fall. Still can't believe it. I have been applying for 1.5 years always qualified but never picked. After being denied again I received an email out of the blue saying I was an alternate and to show up for the meeting. Well, I was the one in the arm cast that was very excited when called into the hall. All said and done I'm in and ready to get going.
