Sac state nursing 2011

Published

Hi I am planning to apply to csus for spring 2012

is there anyone who applied for fall 2011 and got in or didn't get in?

It would be helpful if you can share your stats with me :)

I applied for Fall 2011 and didn't get in. They put me as alternate 21. I had a total of 63 points: 3.81 gpa and 87.6 on Teas. No optional points for me. I probably should do volunteer work and foreign language for extra credit.

Pokemon, I hope it works out for you. Do you know what the cut off is currently?

I'm planning on applying Spring 2012 too. Is it hard to get into the program at Sac State?

I think its easier to get in during the spring. The number of applicants who apply during spring decrease when compared to the fall. Less competition!

That's a plus =)

Pokemon-how many times did you take the Teas? I'm taking the test for the first time next month. I'm nervous!! I've been using the ati study guides.

I took the Teas three times. The first was when the Teas was V 4.0 and then they changed it to 5.0 and I took that version twice. In honesty, if you see the Teas three times you should be able to get a high score because the math and reading questions don't really change. The science and English are a little different but it becomes repetitive. Good news they finally let me into the nursing program. The waiting period sucks but now I'm happy I got in.

Pokemon-Congratulations!!! That is so exciting. I am really happy for you. You have given me so much hope. I was stressing so much on my points. I wish you nothing but the best keep.

^^^^^ what were your points for sac state? It would be nice to see how I stand... im going to check out my points right now...

i think it was 67 or 66

Hi! I was wondering if you could give me some information. I'm three people away from getting in to the program this semester and I was wondering what the checklist included and if they gave any assignments out already so I can start to prepare myself in case some people drop last minute, I don't want to be too far behind.

Hi! I'm also applying for the Spring 2012 semester. They have applicant stats posted on their website, which are very helpful to gauge your chances. From what I can tell, they usually end up taking around 30 + alternates too :) Good luck!
