Sac State Nursing for Spring 2018

Published

Is anyone here applying in October for Spring 2018 nursing program at Sac State? I know this is the last semester to apply for the older criteria and CSUS will be changing the selection criteria for Fall 2018. What's your gpa? Teas score? points? I haven't taken the teas yet and I'm super nervous.

That's what I'm thinking too.

I also heard that they might lean on slightly overestimating the preliminary cut off. It's always easier to lower it and allow more in than it is to turn people away because the cut off was underestimated.

Exactly. Now that the application was online, I assume people with only a slight interest in actually attending the program applied who are going to decline the acceptance letters once they go out. I was told by a friend that the few semesters she watched the wait lists, they would get up to the two digits within the first week.

I love everyones optimism!

82 will be fine I bet

Tomorrow is the day! Is everyone ready?

I'm feeling pretty anxious, myself.

What will the email entail? If we didn't already get the "rejection" email dont we already know we are gettijg one tomorrow? Will they tell us if we are in or an alternate? Is it still based on student reported data ot did they check this go around

Applicants 1-130 have been evaluated and we will get acceptance emails or emails telling us where we are on the wait list.

Will it say anything about the number of people that were disqualified?

I'm not sure.

Looks like someone updated the website sometime this evening. Bottom of the page now says, "Spring 2018 Last Alternate Selected To Date - TBA"

I am so terrified!!! Does anyone know how long they give people to make their decision? Is there even a specific timeframe people are given?

It's all getting real now. I'm nervous! Less than a day!

Very good question I don't know the answer to! The intent to enroll is November 30, so someone who got accepted at another school who knows they won't be going to CSUS will probably decline within a day.
