Hello Everyone,

I am about to send in my application to CSU Sacramento for Fall 13 and was wondering if there are any other people in the same predicament. Would love love to hear your experiences as well.

Wow just four more days. I've had a really bad couple of days so I'm hoping good news will be coming on Tuesday. For all of us.

Omg!! Did you all get the email from --------- about the point cutoff???? That would mean we all got in!! Candidate ranked 80 has 75 points!!!!

Update #2 emailed out! We won't get our admissions details on the 30th, but at least we have some details on the points, and it isn't too much longer of a wait.

I think my heart stopped when I read the email. It said number 80 has 75 points! I hope that means I'm in! I know they only offer spots to the first 75, and leave 5 open for errors. And if no errors they offer the last 5 spots. Oh god I don't want to do anymore waiting.

Yay.... I am glad you all have an idea of where you stand. I remember how excited I was when I was waiting.

For anyone who may me below 75, remember that EVERY semester ------------ goes to alternates in the 30's and 40's to fill those 80 spots. Stay positive and keep your hopes up. In my class someone got called on orientation day because a student quit halfway through orientation. She was the 44th alternate. :cheeky:

Nurseinthemaking: You are in. :cheeky::nurse:

1. The 5 spots she keeps open are for mistakes she has made. (and there are usually not many)

2. Most of the applicants apply to multiple schools and when they get accepted to multiple programs they choose their first pick. (ie. Sacstate is the number 2 school for many EastBay, Chico, & Sonoma students)

3. I am anticipating the point cutoff to be between 65-70. Based on statistical data, anything higher that 70 would be very unlikely. Usually it increases by about 2 each semester which would make your class 64.

Vintage swagger- thanks for the speedy reply because I am dying over here. Sorry to be so inquisitive, but does this mean my email will actually say I'm in??? Or do I have to wait for people to submit possible errors to get that "for sure" in??
