I am about to send in my application to CSU Sacramento for Fall 13 and was wondering if there are any other people in the same predicament. Would love love to hear your experiences as well.

So I met with Terri after the information session and it looks like you will all be waiting until the end of the month. There is over 400 applicants to go through this semester. Sorry I don't have better news.

I also talked with her about points and since she is not done yet, she doesn't have a number but it will probably be higher that last semester (62). I was hoping to have more/better news but unfortunately not this time.

I knoooow! It's driving me crazy. Why does it have to keep getting more and more competitive? Why did they have to get so many applications this time around! I was just telling some younger pre-nursing friends of mine, that they better hurry up, because eventually it's going to be almost impossible to get in!

Seriously! It is going to be extremely interesting to see where the points are at this semester. I just cannot believe how many applicants there are. I feel sick about it. I can understand that the point cutoff will be higher, but I cannot imagine it jumping like 10 points, ya know? I guess anything is possible. 16 more days!

If it jumped ten points, then I would be sick. It doesn't help that all my friends and family keep asking me if I've found out yet. What will I tell them if I don't get in? Even if I get a high spot on the wait list I'd still be hurt. I've worked too hard, and have spent the last 3 years of my life in a very stressed state.

Well, I feel your pain. My friends and family ask me what feels like daily, when will I find out! I too have worked so hard. With my three boys it has been challenging (to say the least) to maintain perfect grades and study habits. I'm exhausted. I am getting too old, I need to get in lol! I hope 81 Pts is enough. I really do. I will be heartbroken. Plus, my kids pray every night for me to get in! I would hate to tell them I didn't make it. I guess if it isn't meant to be this semester I will just keep trying!! ;-)

Yes, if I don't get in I'll keep applying also. But it's already taken me 3 years to get my prereq's done just because it is so hard to get classes at sac state. So that means 5 years for a bachelors instead of 4. I really don't want to make that 5 1/2.

For you guys who have 80 points and up I really don't think you have anything to worry about. If the cut off last fall was 69 with around 300 apps, this semesters cut off is almost definately going to get in the 70's. How high in the 70's is the question, and for those of us who are in this point range, we really are on the edge of our seats!
