Sac State (CSUS) Fall 2012 Applicants

Hey guys! Who's applying for Fall 2012?

Hey Stephenee & Spiffyness! I'm 19, turning 20 in July. We can be the youngins together! Anyone heard from CSUS yet? I'm losing my mind!

@kaiamc Are you planning to do pharmacology online or in class (if we are accepted that is)

@saxuhmuhphone Yes we will! Do you know when they plan to send out admissions decisions? I should be hearing back from 2 schools next week ahh!

I believe your class will still need to take Pharm as a coreq, but your graduating class *might* be the last that actually has to take it as its own class. They didn't give us a whole lot of information on it. They just said that they are undergoing some restructuring (I think due to funding) that made them need to make some curriculum changes, and it takes a while to put into effect.

Plan on taking it just in case - it's really not all that bad to take it during your first semester, as it is online/televised (you watch the lectures on TV), and there will most likely be a ton of people in your nursing cohort that are also taking it - a lot of us take the quizzes together, or go over stuff together, and it helps a lot.

I found a pharmacology class at the losrios school district, which is the junior college group that I attend. Its summer and online but if we don't need it, that would be so much better since I want the summer off. I would have to take the Pharma class at Sac State in person I think. I don't think I have access to cable for the visual portion of the class, I think it has a TV component, and I have kids so I would get very little studying done at home.

It looks like we were posting at the same time Vickiemarie :) Thanks again, It stinks that its not incredibly clear but on the positive side I think we will find out in orientation which is probably before the summer class starts.

Grats! What are your stats for the sac program nurrrsinghopeful? I wonder if anyone has contacted the actual nursing school to see when we will hear back!

I got a 91 on the TEA's and i have like a 3.7something. I might get a few of the extra points, but im not too sure.

Looks like we're finding out on April 30. Just got the email.

I got that email and my heart dropped into my stomach... I thought it was our acceptance/decline letters coming early.......LOL..... Only a couple of weeks to go.

I'm glad they let us know. They coulda just left us hanging and not told us

I took a screen shot of the email to put on my Instagram because I thought it was an acceptance/rejection letter. LOL
