Hi everyone,
I don't think I've seen a thread for the 2024 Spring cohort so I figured I'd make one. Looking forward to chatting with you all!

I'm assuming you applied for the program? Did you hear any decision from Newark Admissions yet?

Hi,
Nope I haven't heard anything yet. From what I've seen in previous threads the decisions can take a while to come back. I applied the first day the application cycle opened. I also see that they re-opened the application cycle so now I really have no idea when we can expect decisions.
They extended the deadline with no specific date. I'm beginning to think there are only few applicants for this cohort. Hopefully we accepted to this program ?

That's my assumption as well. Fingers crossed. Good luck!

I actually just got my acceptance today at around 5 AM. Hopefully you get yours soon!

Congratulations! Are you planning on accepting?
Yes, I already paid my deposit
I live in Brooklyn, I will pay out of state tuition but I do not want to wait next fall to go to pace. I also got accepted from pace. I am still confused but paid my deposit anyway to give myself some time to decide

I live in Northern Jersey. I was planning on applying to Pace too but I ended up not applying because of the 1+ hr train commute (compared to the 20 minutes it would take to get to Rutgers) and out of state tuition as well. Also, I wanted to get started ASAP to get into the field as soon as possible (which is why I went the ABSN route instead of ADN) so I understand you not wanting to wait another 6+ months to start your education. That was smart of you to pay the deposit though so you can have a bit more time to make a decision. Either way I know both schools have pretty good programs so you'll get a great experience either way. Hopefully we're classmates come next year but if not good luck with everything on your end!
Thank you so much.
I will probably see you at Rutgers. The pace is very good but so tough. I attended their orientation and got scared a lot. I also have a toddler. ABSN is hard but pace is harder in timewise.
