Hello! I've just completed my application for the Spring 2018 Rutgers ABSN program (applying for both New Brunswick and Newark) and was wondering if anyone else is applying as well? Anyone have an idea how many people are accepted at each campus? Also - does anyone know what the academic calendar will be like, i.e. is there any type of short break in the summer? I was looking around on the website and can't seem to find a tentative calendar for some reason.
So I heard that some people already got their acceptances.. Seems kind of weird because I called admissions this morning and they said they haven't sent anything out as of yet. Anyone else hear this?

Yeah I called this morning and was also told that so I'm not sure, I feel like Admissions wouldn't lie about that.
Yes, where did you hear about people getting acceptances? Also, for those of you who called admissions, did they say when they would start to send out decisions?
they also told me they had not sent anything out yet. they also told me....that 1000 people applied. is that even possible? they told me everyone will know by 5-6 weeks past the deadline, but nothing other than that...
They must be exaggerating that number lol because they got around 600 for Fall 2017 and they told me that they get about half that for the Spring cycle because less people apply. But who knows I guess..
1,000 Applicants !! WOW!! That is very scary. Those that spoke to the admissions office did they say when we will receive our letters? Like how soon? Thanks!
Hey guys - just a heads up, I called admissions just now to make sure they had received the two recommendation letters that people had sent for me (both were mailed). The person I spoke to said that they did NOT receive them and that I should email them... and while she was looking for them she said she has not received ANY letters for any of the ABSN applicants. I find that really odd... I can't be the only one who had letters mailed in???
Letters of recommendation were not required for spring 2018 applications- it is on the Rutgers website. They told me one time when I called that if you submitted them, they would not review them either way. Did they say when they would send acceptances?

I forget, how many people do they accept for each campus? Is it 60?
