Hey everyone!  I thought it would be a great idea to create this thread for anyone applying to the (Spring 2023) ABSN second degree program at RUTGERS Newark.

Wow OK... I got the acceptance email on October 28th so im going to give them until just after the deadline (November 15ht) and ill definitely follow up with admissions. Thanks so much:)

Do you know what the dates are for orientation? I haven’t gotten an email yet and I was accepted October 27 ? I don’t know if I should email them or wait a little bit more.

I bet you’ll get something this week. It gave me the option of either December 16th or January 6th both in the morning/early afternoon.

Hey are you guys thinking about applying for loans or scholarships while enrolled in the program. I only mention this because the admissions counselor  mentioned that it would not be in our best interest to enroll while working full time.

Does anyone know when the start date “first day of classes” would be around? One of the orientation days was 1/6/2023, which seems a bit late for a Spring semester since they usually start classes first week of January.

Hey, please keep your head up. Your stats are amazing. Don't give up. You could always reapply for the Summer session.

I believe it’s January 17th according to the academic calendar.

Hello All! This is my first time posting and using a forum so I’m kind of nervous! I made a last minute decision and applied for the Spring ‘23 ABSN around October 29th. For my nerves, I began telling myself to just apply and get it over with. This way if I get denied I can have closure and move on to other schools and applications. That being said I’ve started to become more and more anxious awaiting a decision ?. I found this thread and wanted to find out how the application process was going for others so I didn’t feel so alone waiting this out!
