Hi all, I applied to Rutgers-Camden Accelerated BSN program in late January. I wanted to start a new thread for the program. I am anxiously waiting to hear back from the school!! I will have a bachelors in psychology, minor in biology when I graduate in May. Has anyone else applied and received a response yet?

Anyone know if we actually need the newest editions of the books and the PrepU stuff? I can't afford to spend $500 a semester in books so any help would be appreciated.

For some classes the assignments on prep u is part of your grade and for those classes it is required ( it's a single use online key your purchasing not a book). I would find out if it is incorporated into your grade first before purchasing because it is expensive. You can also purchase the prep U & E book package which is cheaper then buying separate. As for the other classes, no the newest addition is not needed. I always purchase the addition before (I wouldn't buy a really old edition however). The books are just used for reference anyways, so although I don't use them very often, they are definitely good to have!

So is this program $ 11,217 per year? also do they allow you to take bio ethics or genetics while enrolled?

Congratulations on your acceptances! I am currently in the ABS program (in Camden) and I will be starting level II in the summer. Its a great program and I have no complaints so far (the communication issue can be annoying at times but it depends on the faculty--most professors are very quick to respond). I'm very happy with my decision to go there. If you guys have any questions I'd be happy to help! There is gonna be a lot of information to take in during orientation, it can be a little overwhelming too so if you have any questions let me know! Good luck to everyone~

How hard is the program? Can you please give me full details!

I am doing my pre-req classes now to register hopefully by 2019 to the accelerated nursing program but in Newark,NJ.
