Rutgers Accelerated Nursing- Fall 2015 (Newark)

Wow, seems like no one is applying here or maybe we just have a lot of readers. In any case i hope to apply for the accelerated nursing program for Fall 2015. originally, it was to be Spring 2016 because i haven't finished prereqs but I'm hoping to be done next spring (of 2015) and hoping they extend the deadline. Anyone else?!!

I was able to see the schedule. Same as mentioned above. I thought it would be a little different for everyone. One more week for orientation!

just an FYI.. you will be auto-enrolled for all of your classes so you'll never have to worry about registration. and you will have the same main schedule as everyone in your level, but your clinical and lab groups will have different days and times.

Also for people worried about not being able to log in with their net id. don't worry about it!!! you will receive full instructions at orientation about setting up your net id and email and all of that!

Anyone order the drug test yet? Do we go to our own providers or a special provider that they choose?

I ordered the drug test and was sent the form via Certified Profile. It says in the form I could only go to LabCorp. Print out the one page form and you are all set. I took the test last Friday morning and got the results sent that afternoon.

Did you have to pay any additional money for the test?

Yes, you have to pay for the Drug test which seperates to the background chack.

I know about the 40 something dollars that you pay on certifiedprofile but did you have to pay the lab?

I paid $47 for the test. Make sure you put the right RU code in for the drug test. I believe it was listed in the email sent.

Tomorrow is the big day!! Anyone else driving to the campus? I'm not sure how parking is going to work without having the parking pass yet.

Hey I'm driving also. I'm going to make sure to leave early because I don't know how downtown Newark is in the morning. In the packet that they sent it said that we could park in the lot behind the building. I hope that's true. I would think that they planned for us to park there for orientation.
