Rutgers Accelerated Nursing- Fall 2015 (Newark)

I just called. She told me emails will not be sent. I believe the person on here who got an email got it after speaking to them about a deadline with another school. She told me the letters have already gone out with the mail today, and I asked if she thinks I would get it by Monday since I'm in central/south jersey. She said yes. I did ask to speak to the person in admissions but was sent to a voicemail. I think we will all know either Saturday or Monday.

I guess they changed their minds. I guess it was an exception but they did tell several people they were going to email it as well and I guess it is too much hassle to do it online

Saturday is still too late for me. I'm hopefully signing a lease in VA Saturday so Rutgers is out. I had some hope that I would hear back in time with the emails but I guess not. Next year they should change their policy so they don't lose students to other schools.

@Jess674 why don't you call Rutgers and let them know your situation. Perhaps they will make an exception for you and send you a response

I did and they just said the letters were mailed out this morning. They won't send any emails.

I would call. Lots of programs have July deadlines for deposits and such. They will have plenty of people who will turn them down because it is too late.

Saturday is still too late for me. I'm hopefully signing a lease in VA Saturday so Rutgers is out. I had some hope that I would hear back in time with the emails but I guess not. Next year they should change their policy so they don't lose students to other schools.

did you try calling to ask and explain the lease situation? since they were willing to make an exception for sweetdream, maybe they'll do it for you too. fingers crossed!

What school in VA? I was accepted to Marymount and will be going to VA this weekend too to look at apartments. We are on the same boat.

I had received an e-mail this morning saying I was accepted! I'm not sure why they are saying that they are not sending e-mails and why I got one. Not sure if I will be accepting their offer or not yet because I was accepted into another program and I'm already halfway done with their requirements for clinical. It's such a tough decision. Rutgers has a great reputation and its a lot cheaper than my other school I was accepted to but they seem unorganized right now? Not sure what to do :/
