Hi all.
I am applying for Rutgers-Newark ABSN Summer 2022 start date. I wanted to know if anyone has heard back yet from the program?
Thank you all and good luck to you

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.
One is to create a facebook page. This link is allowed to be posted.
Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1326930114384669/
The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.
Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.
We wish you success in your Nursing program!
Hello guys,
I just created a facebook group for those accepted into the program https://www.facebook.com/groups/1009056479964933/?ref=share
Just got accepted today! I can't wait to meet all the others who did as well and wishing the best of luck to everyone waiting on a decision :) Gonna post my stats because looking at the forum for Summer 2021 and this forum helped me gauge what I needed. Hope this can help future applicants!
GPA: 3.5
A&P I: A
A&P 2: A
Microbio: A
General Chem II: A
Nutrition: A
Stats: A (Took 3 times if anyone needs hope LOL. Dropped it once and got a C+ the second time)
Life Span: A
Gen Psych: A (Took 2 times. First time was from this high school program I did but I voided the credits when I went to college and retook it for a better grade)
Intro to Sociology: A
Additional Background: Did my first undergrad at Rutgers NB and was a Human Resource Management and Communication double major. I mainly did internships in these fields and don't have any clinical experience. What might've helped me was my essay since a part of it explained why I retook the two classes and how my majors, despite not being science-related, taught me skills that would help me in this field.
Good luck to everyone!
I am not a returning Rutgers student so I applied through Community ID and my application never went under review, it went from submitted to decision made. If it helps -- I was accepted to the program a week and a half ago but I applied Jan 13 or so and had two classes pending, which I finished around mid Feb. I have no previous healthcare experience, a previous BS degree with a 3.47 GPA, and As or Bs in the prereqs. I also wrote a personal statement.

?? we need to find a way to better communicate. Because I feel everything about this process is weird. And I don’t want to miss any deadlines LOL
