Rutgers ABSN Summer 2020

Hello! Thought I'd start a thread as I haven't found one. Has anyone applied for Rutgers ABSN summer 2020 start?

I only applied for Newark. Its closer to where I live. But I had studied in Rutgers NB, and I loved it. Newark campus is not the same. Youre basically in the middle of the city of Newark. While in New Brunswick there is a bunch of different campuses. It is what college is supposed to look and feel. Also Alex library is where its at y'all. If you choose NB, that place will be your second home.

Damn! I am close to Newark though , But I live in libraries, LOL so I am going to miss the Alex second home LOL. My rental/roomshare issue is still not settled yet due to covid19 situation. I heard some bad neighborhoods near Newark and I am not aware of the surroundings so it makes things more tough for me. Hope someone can chime in which areas to avoid and which ones to choose.

I heard better things about New Brunswick so If I was picking Rutgers it would be NB. I know newark is not a safe neighborhood so me personally I wouldn’t feel comfortable/safe if I were to spend late hours at the library or commuting home. The ride for me is 20-30 min for either campus for the commute isn’t much of a deciding factor for me

Hi everyone does anybody know if a regular Biochemistry course will work as organic Biochemistry for rutgers? I took biochemistry 4115 in kean. Does that work?

Does anyone know how long we have to accept or decision for the school? Is it a 2 week window ?

@nursesareawesome I'm not sure what the exact date is. I do know that Rutgers Newark ABSN has orientation this week tho.

Hello, actually it would be better to probably just take General Chem II since I think the only biochem they accept is the Organic Biochem given at Rutgers
