Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021

Hey! I figured I'd start a thread as I haven't found one for this upcoming semester. Has anyone applied for Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021 start?

I have applied and am currently just waiting on a response. I know I have spoken to someone at the school and they have mentioned that some people have already gotten their decisions.

Does anyone know what's gonna happen with the rising cases and everything closing down again? Really hoping we can still go forward with it and graduate on time.

@IvyFutureRN Hey! I just got access to myDashboard this morning. I don't see the "My Enrollment" widget. I was wondering if this widget eventually came on for you or did you have to call tech support.

I paid my acceptance fee last Friday and I have yet to see the “my enrollment” widget. Have you received an email with the next steps? I haven’t received any emails yet so I think we’re on the same boat LOL

I don’t know what they have planned, but it’s something we can ask during orientation. I read on a different forum that they postponed graduation for certain previous classes because they didn’t do virtual learning.

@IvyFutureRN I received a congratulatory email and a reminder to pay the fee to secure my spot, nothing else. I've been utilizing the "New Student Resources" link below to get things started. There's a contact in the link I plan on emailing on Monday to make sure I won't miss anything.

Yes, I only received an email congratulating me on acceptance and reminder to pay the acceptance fee to secure my spot. I haven't received any other emails or gotten access to the "my enrollment" widget yet. Are you in the FB group? someone shared that same link on there.

Hello, not sure if this question was addressed, but below is the message you get when registering for the orientation. I believe there's a second orientation for New Rutgers students (date TBD).

New Student Orientation - December 11, 2020

Due to all of the recent decisions made regarding COVID-19 we have moved all New Student Orientations to a virtual platform.  

On December 11th, your day will consist of SOAR live session and completion of online Blackboard modules. During the scheduled Advisement time provided by SOAR, you will participate in a Zoom meeting with the Rutgers School of Nursing.
