Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021

Hey! I figured I'd start a thread as I haven't found one for this upcoming semester. Has anyone applied for Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021 start?

I have applied and am currently just waiting on a response. I know I have spoken to someone at the school and they have mentioned that some people have already gotten their decisions.

I did get an email from Rutgers today at 11 AM saying "We are excited that you have chosen to apply..." I thought it was an acceptance email but just a false alarm! It just said they are evaluating my application.

I have a 3.3 BBA/MBA GPA and 4.0 pre-req but no prior medical experience.

Anyone else hear anything new?

I also got that email at 11 and felt the same way. Still waiting to hear.

pre req - all As except*** gen chem II I re-took it twice while at Rutgers as a freshman failed the first time and took it again in the Summer and got a C +. still unhappy with my grade I retook it a second time (LOL) and finally got my A 

I was scared I wasn’t going to get in bc of my history. So be patient! There is hope! ?

I was a nervous wreck since the min I submitted my application. I double checked the email to make sure I wasn’t jumping the gun but they did update the application status. I did not get a big red congrats banner just a simple AD and the same letter on the second page. So maybe they are review applications this week?

When did you get the email? I know it says somewhere that they update the status screen each evening. I’m hoping they’re going through the applications this week.

Hey everyone I got the email this morning that I was accepted (re-enrollment app)! ?

Congratulations!!.. Did you get an email or did you check your status?

@Ry_ari I got an email saying they were granting me admission and to wait for upcoming emails that will allow me to accept or deny the offer. On the actual re-enrollment portal, it just says "AD" under the decision section. During the info session I attended a few days ago they said the deadline extension won't be affecting the original 4-6 week estimate they gave us to receive an offer. So hopefully in the next few days, they'll be sending out more offers. Good Luck everyone!
