Hello Everyone,

Wanted to start a thread for any prospective students in the upcoming season applying for this program. I am applying for the FNP specialty and received notification last week for an interview in three weeks on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 1 PM. Is anyone else interviewing for this program soon? I used to go to high school a few blocks away and am excited to be back in the area for the interview and see what the College of Nursing is all about, especially as a distance-based student. Hope to hear from any of you soon.

Thank you lonestar, nice to hear from someone else also in the application process. I'm actually about to go in right now. I'll update you on how things go. Hopefully we hear from other prospective a on this thread too. Will you be applying from out-of-state as well and waiting for an interview?

The interview went surprisingly well. It left such a good impression on me that I feel real good about attending the program more than during the application period. Such a quaint college of nursing and impressive at that. The staff was really friendly and approachable. Had a real good time.

I got an email for acceptance into the fall 2014 DNP program, psych tract. The interview was very laid back. It was more conversational than an interrogation to be quite honest.

My interview was laid back as well. I feel like I will be well-supported as a student and I think it is so important to have that during graduate studies.
