I am seriously considering doing some travelling around the country doind some rural relief nursing. Unfortunately our agencies do not seem set up to do the "travel nursing" that seems to be popular in America. Has anyone actually done rural relief nursing with an agency here??

Hi, Gwenith, Some of the nursing career sites I check out now and again, just to see what available seems to have certain agencies advertising all the time for short and long term contracts available and it seems to be all around the country.
I don't know if I am allowed to put the sitesup on here or not!! C

I just went thru. all my Mums online favs (she is a nurse). One site does have details on rural placements + travelling nurses/employment. As per above post, not sure if I can post the site here.
My aunt has done a lot of travelling nursing earlier in her career. Where, can't be sure. I'll ask her, get some more solid info if u want me to? J.B.

Not the p.g. in Mum had saved but more or less this here is basically a 'presentation' on qld health rural &remote nursing relief program. Presumed you'd be interested considerin' you were askin' .
