There are many posts in this forum on this very topic. Please go through and read them. I don't have first hand knowledge of either Rue Ed or College Network. I do know, from reading many of the posts I hope you'll find, is that both of these companies are merely publishing houses that create and sell study guides that "claim" to help you pass the tests for Excelsior College's nursing program. However, you should know that these companies and their materials are not necessary. Excelsior College, from where you'll eventually receive your AAS degree, publishes their own study guides. Further, they warn against using these publishers because there is no agreement or contract between them. And lastly, if you are determined to use these types of study guides, they can be found very inexpensively on eBay. To me, it doesn't make a great deal of sense to spend additional monies on these publishing companies materials which may or may not be accurate, when you can get the same materials for free directly from the source.

But please, search through this site. I know there are some students who have no difficulty with paying these companies and having good things to say about their product. I just want you to be informed before you sign anything.

Good luck!

For your own good, please take the time to search and read the multiple threads here about folks' experience with and opinions about Rue.

I graduated from Excelsior (then Regent's College). The only guides I used were the free ones on the college website. I bought the books that were listed in their study guides also. By the way, I saved some money getting my books from Amazon.com instead of the college online bookstore. I would try it without outside companies if you can. It will save you a ton of money and I'm living proof that you don't need them to succeed. Good luck to you whatever your decision.
