RSAA CNA classes

Published

My boyfriend signed up for the daytime CNA classes through RSAA for August 4. Has anyone gone to school there?

I just graduated from the weekend class, and I really liked the teacher and felt she did a very good job preparing us. Good Luck! :wink2:

Have you taken the exams yet? Just wondered how the skills part was. Kinda makes me nervous thinking of being "watched" like that!!

Everyone was nervous about the skills test but it wasn't so bad. I got BP, entiembolic stocking, brushing a comotose residents teeth, bedpan, and I don't remember the 5th one, haha, but I passed. The written was easy. I got a 99%.

I am sure that if they really prepare you, it isn't so bad. Just nerve-racking! I have done the CNA class before in 2000 at a nursing home and didn't go get certified at the time, plus I am a caregiver currently, but there are "ways" to do things that we probably don't follow right now. I appreciate your honesty and post! I am excited to get it done. I am planning to continue and go the LPN route hopefully starting April.

I felt unprepared but still passed.

I'm taking my board exam's this coming Sunday. I'm nervous, but I feel fairly confident. I'm sure you will do fine.:yeah:
