What kind of salary does an RPN make in ontario? if your not from ontario what kind of salary do you make in your province?

What kind of salary does an RPN make in ontario? if your not from ontario what kind of salary do you make in your province?

I have recently seen RPN salaries ranging from $17.00 to $23 + in my area( about 1 hour north of Toronto). I just got my first job and I am starting at $22 + 18% in leiu of benefits once I get my permanent licence, ($19.80 + 18% with my temp licence.)

Right now in Ontario, the govt is offering 2007 grads 7 months of full time employment in hospitals that hire RPN's and nursing homes. The pay can range from $18/hr to $23./hour. After the 7 months, I am not sure if you still get full time status, you may have to go part time until a full time line comes up. The pay really depends on what the demand for RPN's is. Where I live, there is little demand for RPN's but if you head about an hour north, there are lots of jobs for RPN's.
