Rpn to rn bridging hybrid Centennial/Ryerson

Folks, I decided to apply for RPN to RN bridging hybrid program in Centennial/Ryerson which will start this coming September 10, 2015. I just confirm my offer of admission today. I guess, I am trying to gather ideas, challenges and knowledge of RPNs that took this program in the past. What would be my expectations? What are the things that I should be ready about - learning wise and studying techniques? I am trying to prepare myself mentally as this program focuses more on online method although we have to be in the campus one day a week for good two hours. It will be a different learning style than my past learning experience as I was physically in the classroom before surrounded with classmate trying to learn, I guess this time, it will be more of learning on my own.

If you have any advice, suggestions, tips, strategies...anything that could help me in this program, I would really appreciate it. :)

It wasn't so much the online portion, as my full-time bridging program is very self-directed as well. I honestly couldn't see myself following through with 5 years of school, having classes in fall, Winter, and Summer, with no breaks. I also found it very busy considering it was supposed to be part-time. I had friends who took the Nipissing part-time program who were doing WAY less work than I was.

I decided to not waste any more time or money, so I bit the bullet and went back full-time. I am so glad I did.

Part-time might be ideal for some people, but I was not a fan.

Oh yikes, this is good to know. I am considering accepting either the Full time or part time Ryerson options, but they say it can be done in 30 months. 5 years seems different. Did you mean 5 years with the bridge component?

Yes, it was five years total for both parts (Centennial and Ryerson). I chose instead to go full time which, from start to finish, could be done in under three years.
