CPRNRE never gives you the mark. You get a Pass or a Fail.
When I wrote my exam we were told that there were questions on the exam that would be removed at the time of marking because they were "trial" questions. So, I never really figured out what the actual number of questions were.
Oh and guys, text speak is not encouraged on this site. It's in the TOS. You might look on this as a conduit to conversing with your peers and educators.
The exam is basic nursing common sense. You learnt in college and graduated.Just focus on YOUR areas of weakness. Mine was IV fluids and peds.
If you are working you know the answers.
Get some sleep, take some gum or mints with you, a couple of pencils and relax.
The exam is written to the lowest level of PN education nationwide, so depending on where you went to college you may be over prepared.
Relax and good luck
Hey great info! I will be writing mine tomorrow, feel pretty good about it. the college i graduated from is Seneca and ive heard often that my school was very tough on their students. for our final semester we had to write one final exam concluding the whole program and needed a 75% to Pass. i got a 90% hehe:D
I PASSED!!!!!if anyone is going to be writing it and would like some advice, feel free to contact/ message me..

No problem Winterspice.
how i studied was:
my final notes that i had for my final exam in school which was based on the whole nursing course.
i purchased the text that CNO recommends for the exam.
Also, i looked at older versions of the text's that CNO had recommend.
the exam consisted a lot on scenarios, on what to do if your pt feels/ asks/ does this....
for me, it was easy. it was just very time consuming.. 6 hours right so thats tiring..
