Roxbury Community College Nursing 2017

Published

Hello, I am new posting here; however, I wanted to know if anyone applied for the Nursing Program at Roxbury Community College. My GPA is 3.58 with A in Ap1 and B+ in AP2, a B in Microbiology. I did well on my TEAS testing. Anyone else apply? If so, are you excited to hear back? Let me know!

do you mind me asking what you got on your science section? that was my lowest section so im worried that it might hurt my chances.

I obtained a 71 on my science section and for my math portion got a 77. If your average was 70+ you'll get in. I think there is a higher pool of applicants for evenings tho! I haven't been told I need to attend any mandatory class sessions throughout the semester.

Cframmar: I got a 50 something. Gcano93: do you know if they'll accept immunizations on another school paper like Laboure's immunization sheet? It's signed by my doctor.

Yeah, they'll accept it! As long it's signed by an actual doctor. I Got mine done at a clinic and the Navy had given me my records. But i'm positive if it says which place you got it at (your records and your immunizations) and a doctor you should be fine!

Yeah I thought so. The front desk girl at laboure said they would accept it at RCC. I was just concerned.

Yes! Carlabraga93, I will be sending you my number via PM to talk to you more about this incoming semester!

Hey guys I applied for the nursing program at RCC and I was accepeted in the program!:) hooray me!! I'm so excited and happy! I can't believe I'm really gonna have the oppurtunity to become a nurse! I can't wait to attend the Mandatory meeting in june 30th

I'm not sexiest at all! But I'm so happy there's a male nurse! I'm excited for all of us!!! It's going to be a great experience!

Lol thanks gcano93. Am I the only male nurse that you know that's going in the program? Also do you know when we can register for our classes yet? I know we have a mandatory meeting on June 30th.

We can register then I believe, that's what the Assistant director of nursing notified me of. I mean we will all be in the same cohort meaning the same time frame. Don't you think? And yeah you're the other male nursing student I know of.

Since you brought up cohort, you girls never mentioned what kind of nursing y'all going into! I'm going for LPN what about you guys?...I mean girls lol
