Hello, I am new posting here; however, I wanted to know if anyone applied for the Nursing Program at Roxbury Community College. My GPA is 3.58 with A in Ap1 and B+ in AP2, a B in Microbiology. I did well on my TEAS testing. Anyone else apply? If so, are you excited to hear back? Let me know!

My sister in laws letter said conditional admission too, it means you're in but you have to send some documents that they need. Hi cframmar, thank you! My teas score were around what you got so you should be good. I have a 3.9 gpa and all my pre reqs are done.

It said you had to be at least proficient to have a competitive application. Im currently a student at Bunker hill which is where I took all of my classes. I only have micro left to take which I plan on taking in the fall. If you have more classes done do they take that into consideration? Also do you know how many points you got for your essay? When I started to take classes I started in developmental math class which is still on my transcript, since it is not a college level class are they going to consider that? I got a C so it is dragging my GPA down to a 3.3..if they did not consider it it would go up seeing as all my other classes are As and Bs. Sorry about all the questions!

My GPA was 3.8 my TEAS score was terrible!! Like BAD! I have all my pre-reqs and co-reqs done. All I need are my Clinicals. I am sure if your essay is really good and well rounded with the rubric and your GPA is above 3.0 you will get in!

Have you taken college algebra or Finite Math? Those may count anything below lvl 100 isn't considered.

yes my pre req gpa is a 3.6 and I took stats ended up with a B+ so I should be all set with math .. all I need is micro and nursing courses.

Micro was the hardest for me to take. A- in AP1 and B+ in AP2. What did you get for your TEAS

I got a 72 on my teas this past Saturday. Still considered proficient but not exactly what I wanted. How about you ?

It seems like you'll have no problem getting in! 72 is a good score! Your grades are very good, I'm sure your essay was too! Gcano93, are you attending that mandatory meeting in the 30th of this month?

Okay! Do you have any paperwork to hand in? I wonder if we can sign up for fundamentals that day. Not sure how that works. Or at orientation in August. I'm so excited.

Yeah you can! I received an email stating you can sign up for classes that day and a day before class.

Oh really? I never got that. I emailed the assistant director and she said that by conditional admission she means that I'm accepted but I'll have attend mandatory additional learning sessions throughout the first semester. I think it might be because I scored a bit low on my science part on the teas. I wonder what these sessions entail.
