Roseman University Spirng/February 2021 Cohort

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to start this forum to reach out to students who are also applying for the Spring 2021 Cohort at Roseman University. I am from California and I am hoping to get into the Henderson Campus. We can use this forum to bounce questions off of each other and to get information.

This is my first time applying to the program. I have tried to apply to a program where I live in Fresno, California and unfortunately there was too much competition and not enough spaces so I am going to actively go after.

Does anyone know how many people typically apply for the program? I know they accept about 70 people between the two campuses, but I am not really too clear on how they determine who get in. I have a TEAS score of 82 and a GPA of about 3.3. I don’t know if this is competitive enough to get into the program.

If I do get in, I would like to use this forum to communicate with my future classmates. I will be moving so hopefully from this we can get roommate ideas or housing suggestions. Have a great one.

In the interview, do they ask you about which campus you would prefer to get accepted too? I really want to get accepted to the henderson campus since I am from Vegas.

Unfortunately, they do not ask for your preference during the interview. I believe when you submitted your application, there should have been an area to select your preference. In the interviews, they repeatedly reminded us that there is no guarantee for campus if you get offered a seat. Good luck to you!!

Hello! For the people who got accepted is anyone taking out private loans to cover the cost of tuition? I'm having trouble figuring out where how I should go out this.

I was expecting the writing prompt to be easier, it was not LOL. I can't believe they gave 24 hours to write this essay. I had like 4-5 hours to write it because I work.

Same! I was expecting more time given my work schedule, etc but I was wrong. LOL

I got it done though, but I went to sleep at 11. I work at a school and I have students grades to submit for their progress reports.Guess who message their principal to give them an extension on grading LOL

On the Roseman Website it says that the essay is worth 12 points. How many points is the interview worth?

Agreed, the interview was also way simpler than I was anticipating. I over thought that lmao ?

Has anyone gotten acceptances yet? I know they said two weeks, but sometimes they give results sooner. I am being very impatient LOL

I was in round one and they waited til the very last day to send out acceptances.
