I just spoke with my admission rep. They will not be officially back in the office until Wednesday July 5th. She said herself and another admission reps have been receiving the same emails/calls that none of us can access the paperwork to accept the offer. She said that by July 5th, if not sooner, it will hopefully get fixed and we won't be penalized and be required to accept in a two day window. She said to check the website once a day until then to see if they fixed it since they did let their director know. Also she said that no they are not currently full. They still have two interview dates and still have seats available. They did have more applicants then they have had in the recent past. Some students from the first interview group are being offered a spot in the Feb 2018 cohort or a spot on the alternative list. She said students they already sent acceptance emails to can't even say yes or no since the system is not working properly. They will know better when the deadline for the first interview group passes, this date might be delayed, and by then they will have a clearer picture of how many seats are still available. If anyone has any concerns, at least for my rep, she said to call when they are back in the office and they will be glad to help.

Stats:

Last 60 credit hours GPA: 3.41 GPA

Pre-req GPA: 3.5 GPA, two classes I am currently taking (A&P II and Micro)

TEAS: Overall was 83 but I don't remember the other breakdown. Math and Science were my best sections.

They have seem to fix the issue and those who have received an acceptance can either accept it or decline it now.

In the email they give you 3 links. The first link is the admission package and in that pdf is a link and instruction on how to do the background check. The second link is to the website where you can accept your offer. It is the same website we used to do the supplemental application. You have to be logged in to submit the form. If you are not logged in when you go to the second link on the right hand side is a link to Home - Login. Click that and use your login you used when you did you supplemental app. Then click the College of Nursing Admission link on the right side. Then click the link that says ABSN - Acceptance of Offer (Oct). Fill out the info requested. Then you need to provide a digital copy of your government Id showing you live in the US, a second photo ID, a copy of your Social Security card and a copy of the background check receipt. I just scanned all my IDs, used passport and driver's licenses, and printed my email for the background check receipt as a pdf and submitted that. Last you can submit the roommate database form if you wish to use that. After that submit your payment and hit submit.

Last thing you need to do is click the 3rd link, found in the email, and complete the College of Nursing Registration and Payment agreement form. Then I believe you are complete.

I was not given instructions or links in the email. I was only given 3 options to choose from which is 1: accept offer for Utah for Oct 2017, 2: accept offer for Feb 2018, and 3: be an alternative candidate for Oct 2017 and if not accepted, then roll over to Feb 2018. I am really confused on how to accept the offer. I tried calling in yesterday but no one is in the office. I am worried because the July 7th deadline is coming up really soon.

I was told by my admission rep that they will be in the office Today, July 6th. I received an email from the admissions director that said "You will not be penalized for not meeting the deadline to submit documents as this is an error on our part." So I would not worry about the deadline but at the same time try to get ahold of admissions today if you can. They will tell you how to proceed.

Hi guys,

So I received an email for the interview on July 12th; however, it seems that the October cohort is all filled so we are given 3 choices as mentioned above ^^. Does anyone have an idea of why they would have more than 1 round of interviews if the case was that they would offer the first group all of the seats? Anyone else on the same boat? It would be my first choice to be a part of the October cohort...Anywhos, I would still be flying out to NV for this interview and am nervous! Any tips or advice would be appreciated (for the interview portion).
