Hello! This topic is for students applying for BSN at Roseman University (August 2019). To those who had interview yesterday (1/16), how do you guys feel about it?

@luvmeems congratulations on your interview and we can’t wait to hear about the results next week! Much luck to you ?? Also thank you for sharing your stats ? I hope you get into NV if that’s your preference.

As far as the difference, I’m not 100% sure although I think ABSN is shorter and have more online components. There’s a separate thread for ABSN, July 2019 Cohort too if you like to check that out!

Hey! I’m also hoping to attend the Henderson campus this fall. I was invited to interview in March. Any tips? I’m super nervous, but also really excited!

According to my admissions evaluation, my overall GPA is 3.39 while my math and science GPA is 3.19. My teas score is ~82%. My stats aren’t outstanding, but I’m hoping that the interview goes well.

Hi guys

I had my interview on Feb 12th in SJ. Did anyone had their interviews yet? Hoping to get accepted for Henderson. It has been already 2 weeks and no emails. I am kind of freaking out. Would it be ok to contact an advisor for questions like that, just don't want to be noisy.

@Nurze4life, we got our emails on a Friday, 2 weeks after the interview around early lunch time. If it's the same case, you should be getting results today!

@nurseb00 Thank you so much, very excited to meet you all:) I have been living in Vegas area for 10 years already, so it was good to get accepted for Henderson campus, didn’t have to relocate?

As far as my stats...

Overall GPA: 3.5

Science GPA: 3.3

TEAS score: 84%

The interview was easy. The staff was super nice, if you have any question about financial aid or classes they are right there to help with everything. First they took us to the campus tour, then we had to write a sample essay on a topic they provided, then the actual interview with 2 professors. Questions were something like ... What does professionalisms mean to you, or if you see someone cheating on an exam, what would you do? As long as you are genuine about your answers, you are good to go. The only hard part was the 6 hour drive to Utah, but it was smooth and easy :)))

Would you mind saying if you got your results back yet or not? I just interviewed this March on the 12th and am so nervous waiting to find out if I got accepted or not and I would appreciate it if you can share.

So I feel like it went pretty well. I was glad to be able to answer every question appropriately, but now I’m so anticipated on knowing on whether I made it or not. Also, how you do on your essay?

That’s good! I was prepared for three out of the four questions they asked. The last question really made me think, so I took a while to answer, but I’m feeling like I didn’t make sense ? I feel like I was clearly nervous so I was kinda rambling lol. I don’t think I blew it entirely though. I’m just not sure how to feel.

As for the essay, I only wrote a short paragraph lol! I’ve never been good with timed writing, so I don’t feel too confident about that.
