Application period has just opened for the October cohort so I figured I should start a thread to see how many people are interested right now!

All questions, comments, and concerns about the program and interview process are welcome to be put down below in this thread.

Hey everyone!

I just submitted both my NursingCAS application and supplemental application two days ago and also got the application confirmation email. I’ve applied for the Henderson campus.

Does anyone know, on average, how long it would take to get an email inviting you to the interview? It’s only been two days and I’m driving myself crazy!

@IsejalboMy advisor said that if you are invited to first round interviews then you should hear something by the end of May/early June. It’s approximately 2 weeks before the interview date. If you are in second round then probably the end of June.

Hello everyone!

I'm working on the CAS application and wasn't sure if the supporting information section is required. For those who have already submitted, did you fill this section out?

Tempted to leave it blank, but don't want to be dinged for it!

@dclaro1123 It should tell you on there if you need it or not. I can’t remember if I did. What kind of questions is it asking?

Hey @NurseYearby thanks for the info! I also asked my advisor too and he says to wait til the end of the month. He says invites go out 10-14 days prior to the interview dates. The first round of interviews is 06/11, second round is 07/17, and third round is August.

Hey @dclaro1123 I believe I left it blank? Is that the section that asks about licensure and certifications?

@NurseYearby my science GPA is 3.38, last 60 credits is 3.595, TEAs is 75%

what was yours?

Hey! I'm applying to the Henderson campus as well. I'm finishing Stats and retaking the TEAS at the end of the month. I'm bummed my first TEAS score was good, just hoping for a good repeat. Not sure my exact GPAs but they're above 3.4s. Hoping I can squeak into the first round of interviews.
