New grad job search tips?
Hello! I am about 2 quarters away from graduating my BSN program, and I am wondering, those who landed their first job as a nurse, started looking for a job and how they got one. For example, I would love to get into a new grad program for I have more certainty that I will be taught well, but at the moment, I really don't know the competitiveness of those programs right now and how many exist. Right now, I am leaning towards LnD or mother/baby unit, but I'm not married to that unit. I also know breaking into the latter is super hard. I would also consider ICU, ER, med-surg, etc. It's hard to figure out what I would like to do when I barely have had clinicals due to being in my program during the pandemic. I plan to start applying before I even graduate, but would love to hear stories and tips of how you guys did it, as well!

ROSEMAN UNIVERSITY ABSN FALL 2019
@sheepmom I also got my interview date to June 11! As for interview questions, my friend who currently attends the ABSN program said they are pretty straight forward. Before your interview, they will give you an essay prompt to write something short. If you need an idea of what questions they'll ask, look at past allnurses discussions about Roseman University -- they will have information about it if you would like to prepare

ROSEMAN UNIVERSITY ABSN FALL 2019
Yes, it is a pass/no pass program in which you have to get a 90% on all exams in order to move on to the next one. Sounds hard but it means that all graduates will end up with the a 4.0 GPA by the end of the program (-: I am from also from Cali (San Jose) but I hate commuting, so I would most likely be trying to find some housing in Vegas if I go here! If yall need roomies I will be looking haha
