Hey everyone! I was just seeing if anybody else out here was submitting an application for the nursing program at Rose State College for the fall 2015 semester. I would love to hear back from those who are and be able to communicate with during the long waiting period! Thanks!!!

Well change of plans! I received a letter from OSU OKC saying they were now accepting alternates into their nursing program and offering me a spot! I have accepted and just waiting for more information! First day is August 17th! YAY!

I apply for Rose State's Nursing program this August 1. I'm quite nervous I won't get in! Could someone who got accepted tell me what their scores were? My GPA isn't fantastic.. but I've taken quite a bit of courses and my COMPASS scores were high.

Hey! I don't remember what exactly I made on the compass test, but as far as GPA, they only use the GPA of required classes for the program, they also give points for experience in health care and some other criteria. As far as total amount of points, I had 121 points and the cut off was 115 for this past semester

I don't have any health care experience. I'm currently at a 115.. but I am a transfer student so I don't get the points for being at rose or being a resident.

Have you taken a chemistry or physiology class, I believe physiology will give you 10points

Yes! Sadly I got a C in physiology! how many times did you apply? I've already finished a ton of classes and recently switched over to nursing from Biology.

They don't use it in the GPA. However I would check Rose states nursing programs advisement online for any updates to the program

Hi Nico i have to take the Compass exam a little nervous, which material did you use and which sections are required. How was the exams?
