Starting this thread for everyone who is applying to RFUs 2026 cohort ! I applied and got my confirmation they received my application and now just waiting.

OMG oh no 😞 okay that might change things if you did not get a Kira. Don't give up hope and keep your options very very wide open. All it takes is one yes and you can do this! Just keep this in your back pocket, you never know they may reach back out to you

What's the information session for? Is Kira their actual interview process? I know it is for U Illinois but not sure about RFU.

Any updates on the people who interviewed? I'm still waiting on my portal for an update and it's making me more anxious

I just called and they mentioned that they're still reviewing applications and it could take 4weeks to get a response. Also, some of the faculty members are on vacation and they don't have a lot of staffing to review all of them this week . So I guess we just have to wait .

I just received my rejection email 😕. Best of luck to everyone who has Kira's! This was my top choice but I'll look into other programs.

What does everyone's portal show? Mine just says: "PLEASE NOTE! There may be a delay of up to two business days for a checklist item to display as completed.”

That's all mine has shown since the very beginning. I did Kira 9/7.

I got invited to zoom interview. September 30th is completely full already when I went to sign up so spots are definitely going fast! 1000 applicants is crazy. Good luck everybody!
