Starting this thread for everyone who is applying to RFUs 2026 cohort ! I applied and got my confirmation they received my application and now just waiting.
Just wanted to give some advice because I talked to one of the program directors last week on campus during an event. From our convo, I was told they pretty much had their cohort filled by the 1st week of December. They had one more spot they needed to fill which they knew would be a Colorado individual for their cohort there.
All this is to reiterate what has already been stressed by the faculty as well as on the forums online MANY times-- if you want to go to this school, apply EARLY! Unless you are a one in a million applicant and have something stellar about you, applying later won't help you. This advice is on their website and they say it all the time at open house. They fill in spots as they go, so for those who didn't get in this time, I highly encourage you apply earlier next year. They also told me they had about 500 more people applying this year than last, so it's only getting more competitive. Good luck!
Hi are you able to give information on how much RFU tries to send student to independent clinical rotations. How many cases, blocks, central line insertion students end up doing? How are the specialty rotations there and if you get a good amount of hours for these cases. Applying in the future... thanks!
Also placed on waitlist. Wonder how many are on the waitlist and what our chances of getting moved to acceptance are? What info session were you all in?
Anyone in this thread that has been accepted but declined their offer for other schools? Just wondering! And ofc congratulations to everyone and keep your head up to those still in the fight!
Has anyone else not received an email notification? It seems like waitlist email notification was sent out yesterday but I still did not get anything. I reached out to the admissions office today but still nothing 🫠
