I'm sure you did better than you think on the Kira!! Have you ever done one before?

No. This is my first time. It was so awkward recording my responses..😅

Congratulations! Was that the location you were wanting? Fo you mind sharing just a few stats and any advice on the info session?

I don't know about anyone else but the unit I come from feels very 2 faced about their support of me pursuing this goal of mine....so getting on here and seeing everyone being so kind and supportive it's truly amazing and a breath of fresh air! ❤️

Thank you, I chose Illinois as my preferred campus. I have pretty average experience and school stats; the only things that may stand out are that I attended the AANA annual congress, my states ANA yearly meeting, and had experience as a nursing instructor.

It's super confusing how they do this interview process, but probably doing well on the kira is the most important part if I were to guess, bc the info session truly was very informal, but at the end of the day, we don't really know how they are making these decisions. Good luck to everyone, the director said we would, for the most part,t be put on hold and have the cohort filled  after all the info sessions were done

Congratulations! On your preference survey did you pick multiple location boxes for the Illinois section or did you only select one green area?

On the clinical survey, I checked green for every region. I wanted to show I was as flexible as possible, and coming from the southwest, Colorado clinicals would be welcome for me.

Where did we have the option to choose the campus?

It came in the email to select an info session, After the Kira.

I attended the zoom information session on 11/18 and just got an email that my application has been placed on hold. Not what I wanted to hear, but still trying to be hopeful!

Hi!! I just submitted my application yesterday. Not sure if they'll look at me because it's a week from the deadline...but thought I'd try

Applied last week and now placed on hold today.

Has anyone received any update or email from the admission office since the 11/18 info session?

When did you have the opportunity to pick Illinois or Colorado or no preference?
