I was also in the info session on the 10th, also placed on the waitlist today. It isn't a flat out no, but I won't be counting on it. I think most people are probably giving up their spots at other schools to come to RFU, not the other way around!

Waitlist is one step ahead of a hold, definitely promising

Was this also a hold like the rest of us or did it explicitly say wait list?

just clarifying as I haven't seen any other wait list in the forums.

I think GPA CCRN and life experience/essay but I also think they value the interview question responses equally too.

I think years of experience

That too, overlooked years of experience as I have 10 overall and 4ICU. Can't overlook diversity as well since they value and pride in their efforts to make CRNA Education more equitable!

I think the application questions including diversity statement and the Kira . RFU really seems major on DEI . I only had 2 years experience in a level 3 and got accepted so I don't think the years is a big deal . But also I do a lot of consistent volunteering in underserved populations so I wonder if that too is a factor. A lot of my experience and leadership and volunteering aims around diversity so maybe that's what helped me

Totally agree! One of the reasons why I chose to apply here, valuing diversity is a very important factor.

I had the same except 3.95 cumulative and significant strides for DEI and still was left on hold though so 😅
