Anyone applying to RFU's CRNA program for May 2025 start? Applications open today in NursingCAS. I don't see the application yet so I plan to check again later in the day.

Is the invite to interview the same as the informational session?

Just got the first online interview invite! 
Does anyone know if they focus on clinical or emotional intelligence questions? Thanks guys and best of luck!

I know you didn't ask me for my stats but I got an interview too but it's to give hope to someone else who might have been in my same shoes. 
 

11 years as a nurse 

first few years med/surg then ER and now almost 2 years in the CV/SICU. We take most devices, balloon pump, Impella, ECMO, deal with all pressors, sedation, paralytics, swanz ect...

my ADN in 2013 GPA was a 2.67

got my BSN just recently and my GPA was a 3.83 or higher believe. 
 

I also took micro, general biology, gen chem, physics and organic chem in the past year to year and half and got A's in them all besides gen biology which was a B. 
 

my overall GPA is a 3.3, science is a 3.5

I have my CCRN, CMC, TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHHS 

so even though my ADN is terrible, I am happy it took me almost 10 years to go back and get my BSN because I wasn't ready to be the person I needed to be back then. While I still have to get accepted, I've got my foot in the door. And all we can ask for right now is an opportunity to showcase the best of ourselves. Good luck to you all.

I haven't taken it just yet, the email does make it sound like it's more of an emotional intelligence assessment. But I don't think anybody or even myself would be willing to indulge more than just that, we are all still competing for a position.

Question, I received two emails. The first one inviting me for the Kira and the second one saying "as previously stated you been invited" follow the link below but mines didn't come with a link or anything to copy in paste in a new browser, did you have the same thing?

No, mine came with a link that took me directly to the KIRA website to start the interview. I would reach out to them if I were you.

From what I understand (I was placed on hold w/o an interview), the first interview is the Kira Assessment and the second interview is the zoom session with the faculty and current students. I was told that's a group interview. Hope that helps.

Not sure. I didn't get anything about an informational session. Just the interview emails.
