Rosalind Franklin University CRNA 2024

Updated:   Published

Hey everyone! I will be applying soon to Rosalind Franklin University's CRNA program starting May 2024.

I know applications in NursingCAS will open on August 10, 2023 and will close on December 15, 2023. I've heard that it is very competitive with rolling admissions so apply early! Interview invites have gone out in September in the past with virtual interviews taking place between October and February. Admission spots were offered last year as early as October.

If you have anything to share throughout this application process, please post here!

Good luck to everyone!!

I don't think so. I think you're probably being considered for acceptance still and not just on hold. They said they'd let everyone know by end of this week right?

Yeah they said 7-10 days in that email and today is day 7. Unless they mean business days?

Hopefully you get an answer this week!

Will be taking Kira tomorrow, good luck everyone!

For those who have been accepted, have any of you been accepted for Colorado clinical sites?

How long after submission have folks gotten a response? I know I was told about 2 weeks at an info session but hoping it's quicker.

Sounds like they don't fill all the spots immediately. You should still interview because if they invited you then there's still a chance you may be the perfect candidate they're looking for and they'll offer you admission!

I went to an info session a couple weeks ago. They said maybe half way filled

Did you hear back yet??

Still no ?

I bet your on a short list for acceptance since you haven't heard back yet. Seems to me like they had hard Yes's and hard No's I.e. Accepted or Hold right after interview. I bet being in limbo is good sign that you're still being considered for acceptance.

Was it specifically for the CRNA program? I see they offer info sessions on the third Tuesday of the month but it doesn't specify what program is discussed. Is this the same one you went to?

No it was a nursingcas info session. It wasn't CRNA specific but my questions were and that's what I told. The person leading it is the recruiter/admission officer for the CRNA program. She couldn't give specific numbers nor did she know off the top. But yeah that is what she could confidently say.
she said the same thing as what others have said in the chat here. Best odds is applying early. The apps submitted October or later have the higher competition.
