Hey everyone! I will be applying soon to Rosalind Franklin University's CRNA program starting May 2024.
I know applications in NursingCAS will open on August 10, 2023 and will close on December 15, 2023. I've heard that it is very competitive with rolling admissions so apply early! Interview invites have gone out in September in the past with virtual interviews taking place between October and February. Admission spots were offered last year as early as October.
If you have anything to share throughout this application process, please post here!
Good luck to everyone!!

This is my first time applying! My BSN was 3.97 and my ADN was 3.2. Science GPA 3.5. Retook science courses. CCRN, Preceptor/Mentor, Stroke Champion on my unit, code blue team member, worked ER, MICU, SICU and Neuro/trauma ICU all of three years.

What science courses did you retake?

did you get an interview?
ke415 said:My application also got put on hold. I remember hearing in their zoom information session that it is common for applications to be put on hold but now I of course don't remember what other context they gave around that. Hopefully there is still a chance but we'll see. Good luck to everyone.
Did you application get put on hold pre or post Kira?
@NeuroNinja congratulations! I'm assuming you bypass the 2nd interview? That's really awesome! ?
IChicagoU said:Silly question. But how much is the Kira assessment valued in part of the application process if that makes any sense? I know they are looking at the whole application but I feel that the Kira assessment is very heavy weighed.
Not sure honestly. I originally thought if you got the Kira, you got the 2nd interview right after. My application got put on hold after Kira unfortunately, and I thought I did well. So who knows

That's what I originally thought, but no I think they changed it from last year. I did not get a second interview. I got an email yesterday saying my application is being put on hold for further consideration.
I would say it took a little over 2 weeks for any of us to hear anything after taking the Kira (the ones who took it right away anyway).
