Hello all!

I have read all of the posts from the 2020 group and wanted to start the 2021 thread in hopes of connecting with other applicants while we all try and navigate this during the pandemic. I applied to RFU CRNA DNP program and have scheduled my interview. I have not received the email with the interview information in it, but I am certain it is via webcam. Does anyone have any additional info or tips of how to best prepare? I am of course revisiting all of my CCRN material! Has anyone else scheduled their interview, if so did you receive notification of being granted an interview? I log on and check my checklist frequently and when I logged on it was there for me to schedule, so I did. I am extremely excited, just curious if anyone else experienced this. Also, are they interviewing everyone since they will be over webcam? Looking forward to connecting with y'all!

I would say just be prepared for both! A curveball could be thrown at you at any moment. You'll also want to concisely talk about your experience whenever possible, in my opinion. Like most schools, they want to see all different aspects of you as a candidate. Just be yourself!

I got my agenda today. I wasnt expecting it to be a group interview. That intimidates me ?

I interviewed this past Tuesday October 27

I wouldn’t freak out. They said because of covid it may take longer

they really want to take the adequate time to review everyone’s applications thoroughly 

at this point all we can do is wait the rest is out of our hands. Happy thoughts friends

Do you mean a group of candidates interviewing all together? Or just one candidate with a panel of interviewers? I figured it would be the latter...but the former sounds a bit chaotic

You will be broken up into individual groups, then individual interviews!

Anyone get an email update from Dr. Anderson? My application is being held for further evaluation but nothing changed on my status via the portal. I interviewed with the first group in October.
