Hey guys, good to join you. Where are some more of those jokes Crumbwannabe? Are you still listening in KarenG?How about bass fishing, any enthusiast out there? I personally fish bass tournaments all over the central and southern US and love it.

Long time lurker here. Nice to see this form. Hmmm. Nursing, from a male point of view. I give it two snaps!
Jeez, I guess I'm dating myself, with the In Living Color reference.:uhoh21:
Anywho, stuck up in the far upper right corner of the 48 states, just south of Canada. Been an RN for almost 8 years now, a second career. Spent 12 years in the US Army first, then went back to college under the Montgomery GI Bill.
RN, associate degree here, just graduated in June. I'm in central Ohio atm. I've been a medic in the Ohio Army Nat'l Guard, was an LPN for a short stint while in RN school, and a nursing assistant on and off since graduating high school in '90. Good to see a nursing forum just for the guys!

Not that I have heard, but with the amount of contractors over there, it really wouldn't surprise me. As far as I know, we are not back filling Military positions in Iraq with civilian nurses. Operational concerns always outweigh the needs of the stateside hospitals so I doubt there is a "shortage" of military nurses in Iraq to support our troops.
But I could be wrong!
